I'd sure like it too. My users have been clamoring for it since I've upgraded and can no longer use them.
You've been really generous so far, so no rush on it. You're making it for no other reason than personal satisfaction.
I know you said that any users are welcome to finish it, so I'd be willing to use my limited knowledge in a group effort to fix it.
