I think I've done a fairly thorough search of the forums and haven't found anything that fits exactly what I need.
What I would like to be able to do is require my members to earn credits to post in certain forums on my site. How it would work is for every reply they make to a topic in the chosen forums, they are given either a full credit or a percentage of a credit (like 1/4 of a credit) based on the length of their reply. They can then use those credits to start new topics of their own, which they are not able to do without replying to others topics and having enough credits.
Is there already something like this or would it be fairly simple to modify some existing items/options of SMFShop to do this? Or is it something that would need to be built from scratch? If so, would it be something someone may be interested in coding?
Any help or direction on this would be very much appreciated.
