I totally third this idea and do agree, I will look into this and if i figure it out i will post it... you should make a option to allow it in admin options so if we want it then we can but not then we dont have to... O0 so I will look into this and update if i do...

ok I have 1&1 hosting, yes i know it is the most crappiest company out there, but its cheap and ok for now...

on the file download I can't seem to figure out the webroot, I have absolutely tried everything, I went into my server settings in forum admin and trying using that but doesn't seem to work, I am about to kill myself, ......

I was just wondering if anyone could help me out there...
and..

is there a way to modify it so i can make it go to a url instead of a root.. or is that bad...
EX.
My file for download:
http://www.xudas.net/files/blahblah.zip                     <-not real file..

so if i was to use root?
from server settings my root is
/homepages/39/d207133739/htdocs/xudas.net((my site main directory))/files/blahblah.zip 

but that doesn't work. I have tried everything... anyone help please......... I searched on here but there was no anwser...
