I found a place that will let you set up a free web based cron job www.cronjobs.org/index.php
The only info you need to change are...

Name.....just make something up
URL http......ie www.yoursite.com/forum/your_bankinterest.php
Expire after........change to 999 because setting to 000 will give an error
HOUR.....set to 0am or whatever time you want

Next, we use a utility that calls this script every day. There are several web-based cron tools, but most are in other languages. You can get a Windows program that will call the script every day, or, if you want to, you could just run the script yourself Smiley

UPDATE: You may try to call the script via the Windows Task Scheduler. Please see this post for more details

How to do this & i did follow the link .... and the link for the windows task scheduler is dead

General SMFShop Discussion / SMF Shop installed itself twice

I have this error in SMF Shop which annoy me a lot. It install itself twices meaning that i have 2 shop icon in my default  themes, double counting the money.

I uninstalled the mod and 1 of the installation is gone but the other 1 is still there eventhough the mod packages isnt there anymore. Any idea of how to fix this bugs or can someone teach me how to manually uninstall this mod ?

Okie Daniel & Thanks for the fast reply ... will try SMF Shop in my test board first. Want to be familiar with the mods before use it in my actual board.

Erm, what exactly all you looking for? Buyable avatars? You could probably do that. Forum Access wouldn't be very hard to code. All those other stuff pretty much exist.

Will look into the tutorial on how to create the new item which is written by you.

This topic had been posted on February and its already May now with no reply from anyone.

I do hope to see the improved version of SMF Shop too as the current one doesnt seems to have much stuff to play with ( correct me if i am wrong )

I just download SMF Shop today. It look like a very good mods and something i am looking for. Anyway, it gave me this error when i try to make a clean install on it today. What should i do ? Continue with the installation ?



P/S : I am currently running SMF 1.1 RC 2
