So, if they log in, and stay online for 1 hour, they get a certain amount of credits?

I would accomplish this by using the total time only online value. I donno how it works, but you could have a time_online_yesterday value and use a daily cron job that calls the current time online, and the time_online_yesterday and does subtraction to see how much time was spent online that day. It then puts the current time  into the time_online_yesterday.
Arrrrr!

The problem with that is the need for a Cronjob.

Could there be a way to actually do this without a cron job?
