[SOLVED] Is cronjob still needed for bank interest

Is cronjob still needed for smf shop 3.0 i read the post in annoucements but can post or reply there for some reason.??

The post i read:-

It states there you do and you dont need cronjob anymore??

I dont have cronjob i my cpanel of my host so do i need to set up manually like in that post or do i not need to do anything in 3.0??

 You do need to call the file somehow...cronjob will do it automatically but you could do it manually each day or follow Basil Beard's advice and try to trigger it via a daily member log in...you could just call it via browsing to the do_interest file that Daniel offered. Cronjob is by far the best way if you can manage it though.

It probably won't be required in SMF 2.0, due to a certain new feature (task scheduler) :D.
But for now, either a cronjob or similar is required ;).
