[SOLVED] Interest does not work.....

I have read and read here about how to get the interest to work. I guess I am a little confused....do I need a cron job for 3.0? If I don't then what would cause the interest to not work? If I do, then could would someone please please give the me the most up to date info? I have searched here, and there's lots of stuff here on the interest, but I am having a hard time finding the most recent and what precisely works.

Hi,
 Yes, you need a cronjob in order to use the interest. If you're on a cPanel-based server, take a look at http://www.dansoftaustralia.net/smfshop_wiki/Bank_Interest for instructions on how to set up the cronjob.

Thanks so much!!!! With a little change in the dir names and some permission changes, I actually got it to work!!! I am so thrilled!!! You had to lay it out step by step, but I still got it!!! YAY!!!
