receive money when someone thank you
« on: September 18, 2007, 08:45:34 pm »
There is a mod that allow other users to thank a post.
example a user x  likes someone else post (z) and user x click on the thanks button and the user z will receive a thanks.
Would it be possible to make the shop mod give money to that user when he/she receive thanks?

as in take the money from x's account and place it in z's account? or just give z money from the bank? if it came from the bank i could see it being abused. but i like the idea.

money would come from the bank.
If money would go from 1 user to another, they would be less willing to thank someone else.

yeh i was thinking that as well but if it was a small amount they'd prob be willing. but yeh if it was to come to the bank i guess you'd need to limit how many times someone can be "thanked" and how many times someone can thank the same person. i'm just thinking out loud. i'd love to see an incorporation of this with the topic rating mod feeble is doing but until that's released if ever that's unlikely but i'd be up for a go of that if it get released. but in the mean time i'll have a look at doing this if someone else doesn't.

There should not be any limits, as a user will only thank a post. And the person who made the post gets the money.
Well people can abuse thanking post someone made to get lots of money.....
but its just a lil adition, and you wont get much money from the thanks.
So i dont think someone will bother finding all those post and go click thanks everywhere.
