Limited #/month/member purchases on some items?

I would like to see an item that would email the admin when purchased, yet have a limited number of purchases allowed for each member per month. It would auto-reset on the 1st of each month.

Just an idea I'd like to see!

....and id like the item to expire from their inventory after a set number of days. From browsing the forums, setting an expiry time seems to be a prob.

But it has been done in the SMF Arcade Shop pass - so i was wondering can anyone combine both two items, ie a test item & the arcade pass??
