Title: allow a member to buy an Item once only

Hello all,

is there a way that you allow every member to buy a certain Item only one time?

because I have made an announcment on my forum that I have adiscount on the random money and one person bought them all.

I think that this would be very nice mod to do.

to extend this idea, would it be possible to set a per person limit on items, not necessarily one.

especially with some items eg arcade passes where some people have been hoarding them up and others are complaining because the shop is out of stock.

Maybe a time limit or something or not allow to buy another until one has been used or something?

this is possible... and i think this will be the last mod i shall take into my hands... i have a list of 92 mods/items/codes i need to make. =) So yes, this will be my last one i shall take unto my hands.

this is somewhat easy (the limit at least i will do the limit). I will even do this one first cuz it should be simple. =) although... I will only tell you how to do it the long way through phpMyAdmin... rofl... i will just make it now. =)

if it is possible to make the mod flexible that admin can choose if the user can buy the item each day once or each week.

so if some options can be added it will be better to apply.

Actually that'd be a different mod than the "limit mod" i am going to make. after the "limit mod" i will make a mod for once only or time it... But that'll be a while. seeing as that uses more stuff...

BTW: what version shop do you use? So far I am working on a 3.X mod.. and that one i am pretty sure it only works with 3.X and none of the others...

if you use 2.X could u give me the package of it... cuz i don't have one...

SMF 1.2
SMF Shop 3.0

if you can make the first mod and I will use it untill u finish the other one

right... It almost works besides the fact it doesn't un-install and... a single file never installs... pissing me off truthfully... =)

But I will fix it... sooner or later...
