Title: A competition mod

Hey!
I was wondering if there is a mod out there that allows you th intergrate a competition system into the shop. It would offer admins / specific usergroups to create competitions and decide on a prize. For example: Admins could set the prize to anything, seen as they have unlimited. Other usergroups would have to use some of there own items for the comp.

How it would work:
User / admin creates a competition
choose the competition type -  Quiz, Question, Lottery
they select how much it is to enter
Click save / create
then the competition deducts the amount to create, the given prize and starts immediatley!

this would realy rock my socks :P

No real easy answer for this sorry.

There is several ways to implement  each one into your forum.

Quiz/Question:
Quick google, i found this (http://www.regretless.com/scripts/scripts.php#dodosquiz)
Looks like it could fit your needs.
Then either with some simple php you can add money or items to the user after they have completed it.
Or even just use the Voucher Mod (http://www.daniel15.com/forum/index.php/topic,1034.0.html) and give the user a voucher after completing the quiz

Lottery: I think feildmaster is currently building one here (http://www.daniel15.com/forum/index.php/topic,501.15.html)


If you need help with the php, I can be of assistance. But you could probably implement without any php at all.

yeah im making a lottery mod... It is by far the hardest thing I ever tried to code... XD Maybe i'm over complicating it... or using noobish code... That might be it... XD

I think the quiz idea is very nice

I have seen the code but I didnt know how to implement it

I think it will be nice if there is an Item that is like a tuition for intering the quiz and when a user buys it and uses it
it will take him to the quiz page and if got a good score he will get some money for that.

or it can be as a competition

it will be set for some time, like one week and the user with highest score he will get the prize money
and each user will get one chance for the quiz.
