Some of those things mentioned are already available for the shop like changing your username/colour etc or trading stuff but you have to remember that these guy's make these things for free in their own time,  some things take a while, Before Daniel there was no shop for SMF so we have to enjoy what we have and help in any way possible to enhance it.

  I like the character idea and think it would be great but it would take a lot of coding to create something like that. I think that Daniel is more than capable but i think he would probably need help because of the man hours involved. Hey a nice dream though and you never know.

It sounds like a permission problem to me. Try to chmod your files or try this post and follow the instructions on 'all files writable'

I get this problem if i try to chmod a file when using coffeecup and normally i have to use cpanel to sort it. Maybe try another ftp prog or cpanel as Daniel said (if you have access to it)

I think that means that the file  'forum' needs to be chmoded which you will have to do fia ftp or cpanel if you have it.

To solve this you need to modify your boards to not allow points in certian places

Go to  admin - boards -  then choose the board you want to stop points working on and click modify, at the bottom of the page you will then see  'Count Shop Points'  simply deselect that .

I don't know if it helps but in the past i had trouble with permissions but i used the 'make all files writable' option in the SMF admin.

Go to  admin - packages - options then in the clean up permissions area at the bottom select  'all files are writable' then try adding your stuff.

Sounds promising    I think it would be a great way to keep interest on a site. At the moment my members are loving the steal feature i think i might need a serious crimes squad to keep an eye on them.

That is a great idea  and i don't suppose it would take to much to modify Daniels new 'profile flag mod' but unfortunatly way beyond my capabilities. Lets hope that one of the skilled guy's give it a go.
