yes because it pulls in the user's ID.  It's actually not even me getting the error(s) it's the users and there are a LOT of these errors showing up in my error log on the admin panel.  A LOT like, hundreds.

Oh I understood what he meant.  I tried putting global $user; at the top and that didn't work so I tried putting it inside the onuse function (at the end of the other globals) and that didn't work either.     I'll look at one of the mods that does use sendPM with success and see how they did it.

What is the function called to add points?  I'd like to place point accumulators elsewhere on the site for other things like web links, giving karma, calendar events and whatever else I cank think of.

oh the protections would actually require a package though because they would have to modify the existing Steal, Armageddon, Karmageddon, etc., php files to take into account people who might have protection.

I'm thinking the Insurances might atrophy or degrade over time so I might need to also modify the doointerest.php file to slowly reduce the insurance and protection items.  When you first purchase one it's 100% protection but it drops 5% per day or something so it's only good for about 10-15 days before it should be re-upped.

My users have already done it! lol It costs I think 100000 credits and I only give 5 credits for a post and 1 for a reply...
