It occurred to me that there doesn't appear to be any secure way of simply trading. At the present it is faith based, and would require enforcement if someone didn't send the item or money that goes with it.

If it's not possible, I suppose I can live with it simply having the thief lose credits. However it would make my members more welcoming to thefts if there is a chance that they could get the money.
It's kinda like a freebie steal for them, with a higher chance of success. ;P

My forums do not use Karma.
Is it possible to replace karma instead with a random number between... say 0 and 500 credits, that the person failing to steal gives up to the person that they attempted to steal from?

What of the punishment for failing?
My forums do not use Karma, so it doesn't have a big enough sting. Is there a way to perhaps change the karma lost to random amount of credits, say between 0-500, lost to the person you attempted to steal from?
