General SMFShop Discussion / Make Shop accessible to Guests

Apparently guests by default cannot view the Shop so I'd like to know where I can edit this setting so that Guests can view the Shop but cannot make any transaction unless they register. I can't find this in the Shop Settings not even in Permissions.

Previously I was able to uninstall the Shop Mod but now that I tried to re-install it in the forum, I get an error saying

Database already installed on SMF Shop 2.1

There's supposedly no problem, but the thing is I cannot see the Admin Panel for the Shop Mod? It's not under Forum Maintenance where it's supposed to be.

How to successfully re-install the Mod Shop?

Our forum crashed the other time so I had to uninstall all mods. For Mod Shop, I encountered unsintallation errors so what I did was undo all edits in ALL the files associated with Mod Shop AND dropped the smf_shop_items and smf_inventory tables.

Yet when I tried to re-install the Mod Shop, I got an error saying the database already exists. What do I do then to properly re-install it?

My members are asking if it's possible to know who attempted to stole one's credits. Of course, once they knew who stole their credits, they can fight back!  Hopefully this is possible.

I've got two questions:

1. How can I reset the points of all members? I've looked around and cannot find a "Reset" button that will set all credits back to zero.

2. Is there a way for the credits to be deducted if, say the thread or the post of a member has been deleted. I found out the Shop mod gives credits whenver a topic or post is made but it does not take it back when the topic/post is deleted. I had a spammer member who made 10 topics and earned 100 credits instantly. He even bought and used the "Make a topic sticky" item and afterwards our mods had a hard time deleting all of his posts. Is there a way then for the credits to be deducted if the topic/post were deleted?

I hope the sticky item can be used for only a certain period of time. For example, "Sticky any of your topics for 1 week."

I want it this way cos some if a lot of the forum members use this Sticky item, then the board will be full of stickies. Better if the stickies expire after a certain period of time.

General SMFShop Discussion / Award points only for posts in certain folders

I noticed that the Mod Shop awards points for all posts and topics posted in the forum. However, some people use the Advertising folder in my forum to jack up their posts. They don't post anything valuable but since they post a lot in the Advertising folder, they gain a lot of points. Is there a way for the Shop Mod to count only posts in specific folders.

Or the points can also match the total Number of Posts counted by the forum since here, we can control which posts the forum will count.

I tried adding more images in Sources/shop/item_images/ but it won't let me add anything, I get a Permission Denied error when trying to upload things via SmartFTP. How to solve this?
