Not sure if we're at cross purposes here so let me clarify...

Eeek's last publicly released version was based off of SMF Arcade 2.07...he hasn't released a public version for 2.08..your reply sounded as though you were using a version for 2.08 (maybe a private release?)

You did an upgrade from 2.07 to 2.08 rather than uninstalling 2.07 (and for good measure making sure the files got deleted) then installing 2.08.

I did it differently...uninstalled all arcade hacks, uninstalled 2.07...made sure files were gone (I'd modded them a bit on my own so I wanted no remains from my fiddling around) then installed 2.08, installed hacks again.

I then hacked 2.08 to add in the hacks Eeek had made to 2.07...this is not based on any publicly released package it's my own stupidity not anyone elses save that I made use of Eeek's work to do it.

Try completely uninstalling the mods for it then uninstalling the arcade and making sure the files are gone from your server then installing 2.08 and the mods back into it.

Other than that I'm stuck as it does work for me...and if you want I can let you loose on a test site of mine with 2.08 and the integration mod working happily together.

I posted and then reread your post.I relized you said you cannot make it stop working.Iol.I uninstall and then install the next version as a habit.I play around with the arcade alot so I'll do a complete new install and see how it goes.So far you're the only one that has it working. :)

I'm not complaining! In fact for me it's de bene esse. It's also a case of forum non conveniens it being easier to resolve here than on the arcade site. However you can try it out again as you said seeing as habeas corpus ad subjiciendum.

Sorry if I confused you before...maybe the above latin is better? I knew it would come in handy some day though I've waited decades to find a use for it. ROFL!

Indeed rebus sic stantibus and given scintilla temporis Hambil may sort something out.

me too!  blame David for getting off-topic lol  :p

So the situation is, I'm doing nothing until Hambil updates his mod or confirms it works with 2.0.8.  Until then I will wait patiently

*wonders where the mod with the big off-topic smiley is*

Yep...2.09 as well now Rider. I have Hambil's private email and have tried to contact him with no luck...hope he's OK. I haven't seen him on any board or site for a while.

He's been a massive help to a great many people, both with mods and general support, so I do hope we'll soon see him again.

i've searched on here and on the smfarcade site but still haven't found what i'm looking for. how would i go about setting the arcade pass to be for a specific category of games? so say i had one category "free" that didn't require a pass and another category "subscription" that does require a pass, can anyone shed any light on how i would do that?
