Why should you trust the best Salomon running shoes?

As a regular enthusiast of off road running over the years, I felt I needed to trial the salomon speedcross vario trail running shoes we had now started stocking. Usually I don't need much wearing in of shoes, and these with their nice soft fitting uppers were no exception. The Salomon Speedcross is a fairly low profile dedicated trail shoe, with what I considered enough grip to keep me upright on steep and muddy trails but also some cushioning to cope with harder packed firm based trails like forestry tracks or the firmer paths of our local Pentland Hills just outside Edinburgh where I run Trail runners need sole protection, comfort and traction in their shoes to maintain a top-notch performance on rugged topography.

The best salomon speedcross vario trail running shoes will never disappoint in providing such aspects to adventure seekers. Meanwhile, the Salomon road shoes are developed with shock attenuation operties, comfort and support to help runners become flexible and fast on the pavement.Go low with the best minimalist and low drop shoes fromSalomon. Salomon low drop shoes will help runners get used to ground contact so transitioning to barefoot running will go smoothly. Salomon minimalist shoes are true to its name, so you can enjoy a lightweight structure and more flexibility.Salomon race shoes are developed to suit competitive running on the trail or track. Incorporated with racing-specific technologies, runners can expect a high energy return and better flexibility. The low arch structure of a runner might lead to wasted motion because of pronation. Picking Salomon stability shoes or Salomon motion control shoes is a wise move to decelerate pronation and maintain gait efficiency. Salomon neutral shoes are fitted for neutral pronators and supinators (under pronators) who can facilitate an efficient gait cycle without much support. When it comes to popularity, Salomon is already linked to adventure racing and trail running. In fact, a lot of trail runners are building their Salomon collection for regular running, performance training and adventure racing. Through the years, the brand continues to amaze running authorities, like Outside Magazine and Outdoor Gear Lab.

The salomon trail running shoes mens where it would be fine to do some road miles, but the more you do the quicker the tread would wear down. There is also less cushioning, which again is fine if you run more on softer trails – so anything like 70-75% trail with 25-30% road they would be fine.If the percentage is more 50/50 then a multi-terrain shoe like the Brooks Cascadia, Asics Trabuco or Saucony Xodus would be worth looking at. They have slightly less grip but more cushioning, and the outsole material is a bit more durable. It is always hard to find one shoe that will deal with all surfaces, and often a slight compromise of grip against cushioning has to be made. Hope this is helpful, but do ask back if you have any other questions.

I give most of this shoe (and other Salomon trail shoes) 5 stars; what causes me to give it 3 stars is the consistent fast wearing of the treads. I continue to buy salomon trail running shoes womens because they fit well, are supportive, lace like a dream, and I can adjust the laced support so easily. But in just three months, the ample tread of these shoes has worn flat as have all the other Salomons I've owned for the last several years. Granted, I walk/run and hike an average of 30-35 miles a week, but I've had other top brands that just don't wear out in the sole like these. Clearly, I keep ordering them because of the overall performance.Specific to this shoe: The sole was advertised to be better gripping especially in wet weather which it has proved to be. The pair I had before, the Hornet model, was so slippery even when it (briefly) had its tread that it made walking on any incline or decline insecure. I do feel more secure in these Speedcross trail runners.
