Title: Unable to add alter or view items

I am using SMF 1.8, and Shop Mod 3.0. A complete default install (except with the addition of a Dice Mod)

Problem: I am unable to add, alter or view other items. I cannot change the currency. I have heard rumors you are supposed to be able to view this in the Administration Panel. This is not happening in my installation.

Are there any known solutions to this.

I have the same problem, I cannot get any links in the admin area to show up, fixes?

I have found the solution. Simply go to Admin -> Server Settings and change default language to English. (NOT English utf-8) It should pop up on your admin page now.

How could i change this so that it would work under UTF-8?

I'm also getting some rather surprising feedback when trying to upload items now.

550, 530 on the FTP, permission denied and directory doesn't exist respectively. However it only appears on the Sources/Shop/ section of the entire site.

This means I can't upload items, I can't change the chmod and I'm pretty much stuck. Anyone have similar problems?
