Title: Blog software install problems

Hey mate, I am trying to install the blog software, but get the following error:


Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /vhosts/easeconsciousness.com/httpdocs/blogs/Packages/temp/installScript.php on line 40

Any help is appreciated as I am really keen to try it!

Sorry about that, it was due to a typo in the install file. Please uninstall your current version, download the new package from the SMF mods site, and install it - It should work this time :).

Now perhaps this is a silly question, but I see no difference at all on the forum. I have also installed the SSI stuff. Am I missing something here?

Try going to http://www.easeconsciousness.com/blogs/index.php?action=blog :). Indeed, it's quite hidden if you have a custom theme... I should add some more instructions explaining this ;).

In order to use the Pretty URLs (they'd look like http://www.easeconsciousness.com/blogs/blog/, http://www.easeconsciousness.com/blogs/blog/blog-name/, etc.), you'll need to copy and paste the entire contents of htaccess.txt into a file called .htaccess (as detailed in the installation instructions).
