FlashChat Module for SMF with TinyPortal

There are so many different pieces and im confused.  I am having login issues with FlashChat authentication. None of my accounts can login.

Here is what I did.
I downloaded and installed SMF.
I downloaded and installed Tiny Portal.
All working fine.

I downloaded and installed FlashChat.
 I get the login screen but no user ID I have works.
Tried to install FlashChatSMF_1-0a.zip module but got an error.  So I didnt continue.

Im just not sure what part is broke.. Ive used FlashChat as a standalone but never with a MySQL CMS.

I just installed the latest upgrade to FlashChat, still no luck. Error when the mod is tried to be applied.

Been a week.. I have FLASHCHAT working by its self but cant get it to intergrate with the TinyPortal. 

Still have the same issue trying to apply your mod.
Can you please help?

Did you choose the option to integrate with smf while installing flash chat? Thats where it makes the connections to the SMF database. Did you supply it with the correct SMF admin password while installing flash chat?  You apply the mod after thats all correct.

yes, I selected SMF 1.1 when installing FlashChat. Keeping that in mind I have SMF 1.1.4

I can login to FlashChat manually using my SMF/TP password so the DB must be reading. Do you know of a manual way to integrate?

Im new to the Flash Chat myself and have been learning in a trial by fire manner as I had issues myself. Heres one thing Ive learned so far. Flash Chat did not like some custom member groups and those folks couldnt log in. If I understand you correctly before Ive had coffee, In your situation it sounds like its not really working correctly before you apply the mod. Right? As for the mod you dont list the actual error your getting. what test(s) failed? Thats usually a hint. You can read the install file in wordpad then follow the instruction from the source to the destination. In my case had had spaces and such in the code causing me problems.

OK,
To simplify things let me just say this for now.
Flash Chat 'the program' is working. But trying to install the intergration script from Daniel15 here draws an error when I click the 'apply mod' button on my SMF with Tiny Portal. Its a warning saying not to apply mod. Let me go get it...

WAIT.. Update: I went to go get the error by trying to apply the mod and it worked.. However the mod didnt do anything but add the options to the 'Features and Options' section. There is no chat button on the forum its self..

Tech Head for TP theme

I see it talked about but never fixed. Im thinking its a specific theme problem maby?
Does the moderator ever get online or is this forum and script abandoned?

ha ha I saw somewhere he mentioned not being around for a while due to some tests.
