SMFShop 2.1 now out!
« on: March 14, 2006, 11:45:41 am »
SMFShop 2.1 is now out! This release actually came out a few days ago, but this announcement was delayed due to server downtime. You can download this new version from the DanSoft Australia website at http://www.dansoftaustralia.net/

The new release fixes a few bugs, and adds a few new features, including seperating the items listing onto multiple pages. A full changelog can be found here.

Is there an upgrade or do we have to uninstall and then re-install. ???

Yes, there is an SMFShop 2.0 --> 2.1 upgrade package.

When I got to the admin panel to add items I get this after I upgrade from 2.0 to 2.1 :

Quote
Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: item_addtopostcount in /home/******/public_html/smf/Sources/shop/ShopAdmin.php(169) : eval()'d code on line 1

Weird... That meams that your 'Add to Post Count' item has become corrupted. Download the SMFShop 2.1 fresh install package, and get the AddToPostCount.php file (in shop/items). Upload the file to your Sources/shop/items directory, replacing the old file if nessecary

I have done this and still get the same error. What about re-uploading ShopAdmin.php would this solve it ?

EDIT: Ok I uploaded the other file I mentioned to and still the same error so I put it back to the original. (ShopAdmin.php)

Can you give me an admin username/password for your forum, and FTP details, and I'll try to see what's wrong.

You may PM me the details, or email them to me at dansoft [[---at---]] dansoftaustralia [)dot(] net

Ok I get 1 error in my logs. I dont think its a big deal but here it is anyway:

Undefined index: shopImageWidth
File: /home/******/public_html/smf/Sources/shop/Shop.php
Line: 220

Go to your admin panel, and then go to the SMFShop section. Check that there is a number listed under 'Shop Image Width' (the default is 32). That should fix the problem

That means you have the 'shop Items Per Page' setting set to 0 :P Just try fixing it.
