I have tried this, but like daniel i don't think it is very useful as it only works on ie, and at least on my forum the majority of users are using firefox or some other browser (mostly firefox)

Glows/Shadows don't work in Firefox . That's why I left them out of my name style items. Until they are cross-browser they will remain left out of my items.

Just add the code in the display name css item.

They will never be cross-browser, as AFAIK they are proprietary Internet Explorer extensions...

damn one of the main reasons i installed this mod was because of the pet mod that seemed not to be far off haha!. "cries" SOMEBODY DRACE HIS IP AND RING HIM lmao

That's a damn shame really...that item/mod looked so promising...I don't know enough to do something like that from scratch, but had I had his code I might have (or someone else) been able to finish it...SHOOT!

Aww, that is what I REALLY wanted out of the shop mod, too. In phpBB they have a mod where you can have a pet, feed it, clean it, water it, take it to the vet, and even have it evolve after 30 days. I REALLY like that modification, and it would be fantastic to have it in SMF. I was going to switch the whole forum to phpBB, but then I found out it had security issues where people could get in an mess up your whole forum. So I decided to stick with SMF, but unfortunately it doesn't have the mods I really want.

Another thing I ran across in some forum or another was being able to set up the arcade so that people had to have so many points (or whatever the cash system is) to play a game unless they were a paying member or a staff member. Is there any way of doing something like that?
