Haha  . Just remember if I am the only one that makes a pet mod, you'll get the code but not pets. Maybe I can code, but I can't draw to save my life.

I can draw up some pets, but they will be copyrighted and you will need to pay to use them!!! Mwahahaha

I'm kidding of course. Basil, if you are planning on doing it, I will start sketching some little animals and making them into little sprites.

Yup. Im working on it now that APs are done. Hopefully it won't take that long, but I don't want to set any deadlines. =). Coding is taking a while because I am making it easy for others to use, not just for me =p.

Update: The admin side of the Pet Mod is more or less coded. All that is left is adding some stuff to make it flow better. The user side is totally not done, however, so although I should finish the admin portion, it will probably be a week or so before the user part is done =P.

The virtual pet looks cute!  Could you add 'food' and 'water' so they would have to buy those for it also?

Smite protection was another one.  Say for a week at a time per purchase.

Yes, there will be varying degrees of  "food" and "water" that you will need to give your pet.

edit: Anyways, still working on the admin side of things. Released I never added an "edit pet" feature. I should have it all finished today though. Coding items won't be hard, but it will still probably be awhile before the user end get coding. More like 2 weeks instead of the 1 week I previously mentioned. I hope to get it done by june though =D

Basil what sort of graphics do you need to add animals?  A land hermit crab would be the perfect pet for my forum and another one I know of   I can supply a vector image for it, if that will work.

Well, users will be able to upload pet pictures much like they can upload shop item pictures currently. It would just be nice to have some basic ones(cat, dog, bear etc...) for those who want the mod and are not artistically gifted.

I'd be happy to work on some little pixel art pets, let me know what size images you are aiming for Basil and I will whip some up. Maybe a monkey... I've always wanted a monkey .
