Ok We are running into a problem.  The member's name is Miroku's_women77, but when we try to edit, or donate to this person we get ERROR: The member you typed ('Miroku\'s_women77') doesn't exist!.  I can se the reason why, but how can we fix this?

Are you sure that's their *real* name, not a display name? The real name is the name they log in as, whereas the display name is what is displayed (these are quite often the same, but sometimes not).

Our forum was one that was changed over from IPB so some of the 'usernames' are different than the display names. some characters show up as their alternates.

Is there maybe a way that you could offer a donate by user id?

The donate option requires you to use the member's username, not their display name.

If you click on the 'Find Members' link, type in their display name, search for it, and then click on the name, their username will be inserted into the box. Try doing it this way.

That works for Exploder, but doesn't appear to be working for FireFox... which is kinda weird cuz it works elsewhere in the forum... hmmm.

Not a big deal to me right now - most of my users are still using Exploder...

I use Opera, and it also appears to work for me...  This is weird :S.
