We see plenty of Air Max retros from Nike Sportswear and they’ve even started to expand the offerings into some of the cult classics of yore, but let’s not forget about this model that’s served the game so well over these past six decades.  The Nike Cortez wholesale price debuted in 1968 and has been featured prominently in ’90s mega-hits Forrest Gump and as George Costanza’s sneakers of choice on Seinfeld, and these two new editions bring back the classic suede and nylon sneaker purists have loved for so long.

Now in its fifth decade of running, the Nike Cortez online is an iconic design that deserves new colorways to maintain its legend status.  It’s clear with these two new pairs that the Cortez was made to shine with simple designs, and these three-colored pairs are right in step with what’s hot right now.  Choose from a Chicago Bears mix of navy and orange or a subtler pair in tonal greys, both of which feature white accents on the tongue, sockliner and sole.

While Valentine’s Day might be more widely recognized in America, the Chinese New Year is one that holds cultural significance to Chinese populations worldwide. Nike has a long-time tradition of commemorating the annual holiday by release a number of special colourways of classic Nike kicks, like the Year of the Tiger Nike Cortez Black Stock that we previewed many times before (and the neat-o Year of the Tiger box it’s contained in).

Nike’s first sneaker, the Cortez, is back in it’s orignal Classic Nylon silhouette and material for the Summer 2009 season and is available now in three colors perfect for the Summer including Powder Blue, Amber Orange, and Bright Peach. All three Nike Cortez White fashion Nylon shoes come in a full nylon upper with a White Nike Swoosh and a White outsole.Even if ‘the summer of George’ is a dozen years past, the Nike Cortez still finds new ways to remain relevant.  We’ve seen a bunch of Flywire-equipped updates lately and here are a few in the classic style.  The Nike Cortez Nylon features suede accents on three new styles.

What would Forrest Gump have to say about the Nike Cortez Total Crimson Comfort? NikeLab just unveiled a slightly altered version of this pop-culture packed Nike running shoe featuring a “Big Tooth” herringbone outsole and a mini Swoosh embroidered on the forefoot of the shoe. We first showed you a similar rendition of the Cortez several months ago with a corduroy heel and fully-embroidered swoosh, but the only identical feature is indeed the smaller logo that Nike has used sparingly over the years.
