Sorry, guests can't view the shop, as this functionality is not implemented. In previous versions, guests could access the shop, but heaps of people told me that it was stupid :P

Anyways, what could a guest do in the shop, anyways? Almost all functions require the user to be logged in.

I headed here specifically to find an answer to this particular question, guess someone else sees things my way. :)

Not only, imho, is guests being able to view the shop not "stupid", it is essential.  Plus, when is an added feature ever stupid? If someone doesn't like it, just don't use it.

One of the great things about SMFShop is it's ability to provide incentive for a user to join your community. If users can't get a good look at the shop, they might decide not to bother signing up.

I'm happy to modify code to make this change on my version, but don't want to introduce issues to other areas of the shop code. Can you provide some guidance on the best way to a) re-enable the feature to allow guests to view the shop or b) modify the code manually without endangering the function of the rest of the shop?

i second this idea. i think it's a great incetive for guests to join. it allows them to see how the the community functions and what it has to offer.

I totally third this idea and do agree, I will look into this and if i figure it out i will post it... you should make a option to allow it in admin options so if we want it then we can but not then we dont have to... O0 so I will look into this and update if i do...
