Japan?s BEAUTY & YOUTH join with New Balance to release a subtle squad of tonal New Balance 999 Elite Urban Exploration Royal high quality. The colab sees the rugged silhouette get decked out in four neutral tones; black, white, grey and light grey. Each shoe is constructed from a mix of premium suede and sits atop a cushy Abzorb sole. It?s been 20 years since New Balance released the original 999, it?s great to see the sneaker back in solid rotation.

New Balance are always producing a steady stream of models rendered with premium materials ? the latest of which is this New Balance 999 Navy Green Store Deconstructed ?Luxury?.The release is part of the 999?s 20th birthday celebrations, and updates the model with a streamlined silhouette. The shoe?s pig leather liner and overlays of nubuck and supple leather are covered in a soft grey, while the midsole is left white and the outsole is dressed in gum.

New Balance have given us an updated interpretation of the 999 by re-engineering the upper with seamless layered mesh, and detailed it with suede.
